Parent Corner- Christmas gifts

What should I get my child for Christmas? It may be surprising but what kids want most is not toys. They want the time and attention of their grown ups. Do you remember the gifts you got as a kid? Maybe a few, but not most. What you do remember is the experiences and time spent together. Give your child experience gifts.

Examples: baking cookies, sitting and reading stories together, making blanket forts, walking outside when it is snowing, singing together, driving around looking at christmas lights, making handmade cards and gifts. This could be a fun ” countdown to Christmas” activity.
