My dream job involves working with children. Ideally also working with parents and caregivers as a team to best support their child. I would like to have the flexibility to individualize how I work with families.
I prefer not be told by the state or school board that if my students do not perform well on these standardized tests that I am a bad teacher. Not be told by insurance companies or school boards how, when, how often etc. Not to look at each client as someone who has to be ” fixed” in under 8 sessions.
I want to be someone who helps people find their best, unique, curious, hopeful, true self.
